The Shop Technician Job requires candidates to:
 
Repair and maintain a variety of commercial construction vehicles
Read, review job orders and devise a work plan
Install commercial vehicle parts including but not limited to: fuel injection nozzles and pumps, batteries, transmission systems, and hydraulic systems
Inspect vehicles for faulty, loose, or broken components
Test vehicles to ensure conformity with operating requirements and specifications
Ensure all work is completed safely and within protocol
Fabricate vehicle parts according to blueprints or schematics
Responsible for tire maintenance, changeovers, and repairs
Maintain an organized, and clean work station, including maintenance of shop tools
Document all service maintenance performed on vehicles
Other duties as assigned
 
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for the Shop Technician job:
 
1-2 Years’ relevant experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to read and interpret written documents in English
Basic problem-solving, reasoning, and math skills
Ability to lift 50lbs unassisted, bend, swoop, stand, kneel, reach, and pull
Valid Driver’s License
